Update fuboTV app

We’re constantly making improvements to the fuboTV app. In order to get the most from fuboTV it’s important to keep your app updated to ensure you have access to all your favorite features and ensure a smooth streaming experience. 

Choose your device from the list below to view step-by-step instructions to update the fuboTV app.

Amazon Fire TV

1. Select Apps from the Fire TV home screen.
2. Scroll to highlight the fuboTV app.

If an update is available, select the Update option. If no update is available there will not be an Update option.

Android Mobile

1. Select My Apps from the Google Play Store
2. Locate and select the fuboTV app.

If an update is available, select the Update button. If no update is available there will be an Open button instead.

Android TV

1. Go to the Settings menu by selecting the gear icon from the Android TV home screen.
2. Select Apps
3. Locate and select the fuboTV app.

If an update is available select the Update option. If no update is available there will not be an Update option.

Apple TV

1. Open the App Store from the Apple TV home screen.
2. Go to the Purchased section and select the fuboTV app.

If an update is available, click Update. If no update is available there will only be an option to Open the app.

Browsers

Google Chrome

1. Launch Chrome
2. Click More (three vertical dots) in the top right
3. Click Update Google Chrome
   • Note: If this button isn’t available, you’re using the most recent version
4. Click Relaunch

 

Microsoft Edge

1. Launch Microsoft Edge
2. Click the Menu button (three horizontal dots) in the top right
3. Hover over Help and Feedback
4. Click About Microsoft Edge
5. If an update is available, it will be installed automatically
6. Click Restart

 

Mozilla Firefox

Firefox should update automatically. If it doesn’t, follow the steps below:

1. Launch Firefox
2. Click the Menu button (three vertical lines) in the top right
3. Click Options
4. Scroll down to Firefox Updates
5. Click Check for Updates

 

Safari

1. Click the Apple icon in the top left corner
2. Click App Store
3. Click Update All to install all available updates on your Mac
   

To only update Safari, click More, then click the update button next to Safari

Iphone/Ipad

1. Open the App Store 
2. Select the Updates tab
3. If an update is available select the fuboTV app. If no update is available, fuboTV will not be listed.

Select Update to begin the update.

LG TV

1. Press the Home button on your remote
2. Choose Settings in the top right
3. Select All Settings in the bottom right
4. Choose General on the left
5. Scroll down and select About this TV

Make sure Allow automatic updates is checked, then select Check for updates

Roku

1. Select Settings from the Roku home screen.
2. Select System.
3. Select System Update.

Select Check Now, if an update is available your Roku will now download and install it.

Samsung SmartTV

1. Press the Home button on your remote
2. Navigate to Apps
3. Select Settings
4. Select Auto Update
5. Whenever an update is available for fuboTV on your Samsung Smart TV, it will update automatically

Vizio SmartCast TV

Both the firmware for your Vizo SmartCast TV and the fuboTV app are updated automatically. If you believe you aren’t running the latest firmware on your TV, visit Vizio Support and search your model number for more information.
